Novelty is our weakness

After fighting my way out — and after helping other men do the same — I learned something important:

The problem isn't just that porn videos are stimulating.

👉 The deeper problem is the endless novelty.

Traffic estimates show xvideos.com users view 9.4 pages per visit on average – people don't usually open one video and leave. They keep clicking.

The brain is not chasing one video.

It is chasing the next one.

Then the next one...

It is the same loop you see on TikTok, Reels, and other apps: keep scrolling because maybe the next thing will be better.

Porn does the same thing, but with naked women.

Every new video is a new body, different positions...

That's exactly why porn is so addictive.

Porn, masturbation, and orgasm (PMO) are all part of the cycle, but porn is the hardest link to break.

The chase for novelty is the trap.

Remember: the brain can get hooked on the seeking and expecting – not just the reward itself.
