Quit Gooning App Review: Test It Before You Pay

The app has useful urge tools. Its free mode and privacy explanation deserve a real bypass test first.

A quit gooning app should slow the route you actually use before the session starts.

The app named Quit Gooning adds streaks, urge tools and daily tasks. That is useful only if its free version changes your worst moment.

Verdict: try the guest mode before paying. Keep it only if the blocker or panic tool survives your normal bypass.

Straight with you: I did not use the app for months. I checked its current store listing, product site and privacy link. My bias, stated plainly: I built X Reset, a competitor.

What the Quit Gooning app includes

It offers a streak tracker, daily tasks, a 14-day heatmap, trigger logging and a panic button.

The product site lists free guest mode, $4.99 weekly, $24.99 yearly and $39.99 lifetime access.

Google Play showed a 4.7 rating from 775 reviews when checked. Several reviews praised the design but said useful tools sit behind premium.

The privacy gap

Google Play says no data is collected or shared, and the site describes guest mode as offline.

But the same site offers account sync. Its privacy URL currently repeats the sales page, without explaining what sync stores or how to delete it.

Use guest mode until that answer is clear.

Test it in five minutes

Block the browser or app from your last session. Try private mode, another browser, disabling the permission and restarting the phone.

If the free setup adds a real pause, keep testing it. If it only counts days, choose by the four jobs in our quit-porn app guide.
