BlockP Review: Strong on Android, Test It Elsewhere

AI filtering sounds universal. Permissions, anti-bypass controls, and platform limits decide what you get.

You searched for a BlockP review because “free AI porn blocker” sounds like the whole answer.

BlockP has useful controls. Whether they protect you depends heavily on your device.

Verdict: BlockP is strongest on Android, where it combines website, keyword, app, social-feed, and uninstall controls.

Test before paying on iPhone or Chrome. Feature names are similar across platforms; protection is not.

Straight with you: I did not run a lab test of BlockP. This review checks its current documentation and public store reviews. My bias, stated plainly: I built X Reset, a competitor.

What BlockP actually blocks

On Android, BlockP uses Accessibility permission to inspect what appears in browsers and apps. It offers normal and strict modes, custom websites and keywords, SafeSearch, social-media controls, app blocking, and uninstall protection.

That is broader than a basic domain list. It can react to explicit material inside a mixed feed instead of blocking the entire platform.

BlockP says this analysis happens on the device. Accessibility is still powerful access. Read the permission screen and privacy policy before enabling it.

Where BlockP looks strongest

Android users get the clearest setup and the most specific anti-bypass controls. Password protection and uninstall prevention matter more than another million-site blocklist.

Custom social controls also help when the trigger is inside Reddit, Instagram, YouTube, or Telegram rather than on a dedicated porn site.

BlockP offers a free tier, so you can test your actual routes before buying Premium.

Where I would be careful

AI filters make mistakes. Recent public reviews describe both missed blocks and harmless pages being flagged. That tradeoff is normal; the useful question is how often it happens on your phone.

Platform parity is another concern. BlockP advertises Android, iOS, macOS, and Chrome, but its deepest documentation is Android-specific. One App Store reviewer reported that an Android AI feature was absent on iOS.

Some iPhone reviews also complain about bugs and being unable to pass a premium offer screen. The US App Store showed 4.4 from 173 ratings on August 29, 2026: positive, but a small sample.

Is BlockP worth it?

On Android, yes: install the free version, enable strict mode, and test Incognito, alternate browsers, social apps, reboot, and uninstall protection. Pay only if the premium control you need passes that test.

On iPhone, start with Apple's built-in adult-site restriction and let someone else hold the Screen Time passcode. Add BlockP only for a gap you can name.

Common questions

Is BlockP really free?

BlockP advertises a free tier with standard and AI blocking. Premium adds broader controls; exact offers can vary by platform.

Does BlockP work on iPhone?

There is an iPhone app, but iOS limits apps differently from Android. Test Safari, private browsing, and every social app you use.

Can BlockP be bypassed?

Every blocker has a boundary. Test alternate browsers, VPN (an app that routes your traffic through another server) use, reboot, uninstall, and mobile data before relying on it.
