How to Block XVideos: Close the Easy Bypasses

Block the domain, the alternate routes and the second browser. Then move the password.

To block XVideos, start with the domain. Then close the browser, network and password exits that make a one-minute block last one minute.

Fast answer: block xvideos.com, enable an adult-site category, test private browsing and mobile data, then give the passcode to someone else.

Straight with you: no block is permanent while you control every setting. The useful goal is enough delay for the urge to pass.

How to block XVideos at the domain

Add xvideos.com as a domain, not one video address. If the tool only accepts full URLs, add both the root and www versions.

On iPhone, open Screen Time, Content & Privacy Restrictions, App Store, Media, Web & Games, then Web Content. Choose Limit Adult Websites and add the addresses under Never Allow.

For a supervised Google account, Family Link can block the entire domain. Google warns that blocking one exact website does not cover addresses that begin or end differently.

Block the category too

A single rule can miss alternate domains. Turn on the blocker's adult-content category instead of chasing each address by hand.

Use a device layer plus a home-network layer. The device rule follows the phone onto mobile data; the network rule covers browsers and devices you forgot.

Test the three easy exits

  1. Open the domain in normal and private browsing.
  2. Try another installed browser.
  3. Turn off Wi-Fi and test mobile data.
  4. Try removing the rule.

Every success shows the missing layer. Fix that exit, test again, then move the administrator or Screen Time passcode out of reach.
